FAQ
What is a custom address?
A custom address in Solana (or any blockchain) is a customized public address that contains a recognizable or meaningful pattern, such as specific letters, numbers, or words at the beginning or end of the address. In the context of memecoins or token contracts, a custom address is often used as a marketing or branding gimmick to make the project look more appealing and memorable.
Instead of having your coin have random generated address, it can look like this:

How long will it take to create my coin?
The time it takes to create your coin mainly depends on the length of the custom address you want for your token. Here’s a general estimate based on the number of custom characters:
- 3–4 characters: Typically generated within a few minutes.
- 5 characters: Should take up to 20 minutes.
- 6 characters: It takes around an hour, this is the maximum prefix length.
These are only estimates. Since generation is based on randomness, a 6-letter custom address might show up in a few minutes if you're lucky—or take longer if not.
What is the maximum length I can do?
Due to processing limitations, we can currently generate up to 6 letters. We are planning on expanding that to 8 letters soon.
Where is the coin launched?
Although it doesn’t end with 'pump', the coin is still part of the Pump.fun ecosystem, making it tradable on the majority of trading platforms and Telegram bots.
